Highline Recreation, LLC Creators of the TUGGER™ lift strap. "The best lift strap made!"
January, 2012:
If you are concerned about weight (and you should be!) you should know that our Tugger lift straps are light AND strong. The Style 1 checks in at 1.7 oz with typical mounting hardware, the Style 2 at 1.4 oz, and the Style 3-4 at 1.5 oz. So adding a front and rear Tugger to your bike will add approximately 3 oz, less than 1/4 lb!
December 2011:
Another year has flown by and our Tugger lift straps continue to be found around the world! Best wishes to all of you during this holiday season!
October, 2011:
Thanks to everyone who ordered our special "For Troy" Tuggers, the proceeds of which will help offset house renovation for wheelchair access and other expenses related to Troy's injuries.
September, 2011: We have some very sad news to report. Troy Sterr, co-founder of Highline Recreation and long time friend had an accident while trail riding on Saturday, September 17th. While riding some gorgeous Idaho trails, he somehow lost his balance and tipped over on a portion of the trail where there was no place to put a foot on the downhill side. As a result, he fell into the rocky creek below, receiving life-changing injuries. He was rescued by many volunteers from local law enforcement, medical, and search and rescue organizations. He can use his arms but is paralyzed from the mid-chest down. Please send your thoughts and prayers towards him and his family; it will be a hard adjustment. Emails of support can be sent to getbettertroy@campbellsci.com, and a website has been set up to provide information and get notifications out: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/summit
April 2011: NEWS ABOUT THE STYLE 3-4 TUGGER
In an effort to continually improve our products, we are excited to announce that the Style 3-4 Tuggers are now stronger than ever before! We have switched to a specialized grommet with teeth that grip the webbing, providing exceptional tear-out resistance. While these grommets are nearly double the cost of common grommets, our high sales volume and bulk purchasing has allowed us to make this change with no increase in cost to you our customer. So go ahead and brutalize your Tugger. It can take it!
January, 2011: Holy moly, another year has flown by, and thousands (yes, thousands!) more of you have Tuggers on your bikes. Thanks for getting the word out about how handy Tuggers are! We met several of you Tugger customers on the trail this year - it is so fun to see how this has taken off. 2010 highlights: Idaho City, Victor, Moab...
January 2010: Thank you for a great year. 2009 was our best year so far, and we're looking forward to another great year in 2010. Hope to see you on the trail!!
October, 2009: After returning from Red Bull Romaniacs, Chris Denison loved our Tuggers so much he wrote a great "Dirt Rider Tested" article in the December, 2009 issue of Dirt Rider. See it here.
September, 2009: Alexander Smith and Chris Denison competed in the Red Bull Romaniacs event. Once again, our Tugger were able to go but we weren't, dang it!
May, 2008: Wow, time is flying! Troy and I are now the excited owners of an enclosed "Tugger" trailer to haul our bikes in when we go riding. It has a huge Tugger logo - watch for us on the trails!

March, 2008: Where are all you people hearing about our Tuggers? As our sales volume continues to increase, our costs continue to drop. You will notice that we dropped the price of our Style 1 and Style 2 Tuggers by $1 each! Thanks for telling your friends about our Tuggers.
October, 2007: Congratulations to the 43 U.S. riders that will be participating in the ISDE this year in Chile! We hope you enjoy your custom "USA" Tuggers - and good luck!
June, 2007: Things are going great and we have been on some excellent rides! We received two particularly good stories of folks using their Tuggers this month - check out the "Customer Comments" page for the latest ones (at the top).
February, 2007: Increased sales volume has helped us reduced our cost for the Style 2 (front) Tuggers - so we are passing the savings on to our customers and the price has been reduced!
September, 2006: Greg Gillian (#389) will be headed to New Zealand for the I.S.D.E. sporting a Tugger on his WR450. It will surely come in handy knowing the brutal conditions typical of I.S.D.E. competition!
August, 2006: Bar Savers are now part of our product line - check 'em out! They're better than any other Bar Savers that you'll see.
June, 2006: Watch for us at the Idaho City National Enduro coming up in June, 2006! Look for our big yellow banner and stop by and say hello! (And while you're there, notice how many bikes in the impound area already have Tuggers...) If you come by during the day, we'll be out riding, but we should be around in the evenings. We'd love to meet more of our customers in person!
